Folsom Europe 2025: the Rainbow Quarter celebrates diversity

Every September, the Rainbow Quarter around Nollendorfplatz turns into an international hub for the fetish community: Folsom Europe. What started in San Francisco has long become a fixed Berlin tradition β a celebration of diversity, visibility and the freedom to express yourself the way you want.
A weekend of energy and community
For the queer community, Folsom is more than a street festival. It stands for self-confidence and solidarity, and at the same time for the openness that has shaped Berlin for decades. Over this weekend the quarter shows itself from its most colourful, wildest and warmest side.
Of course KiezTour was right in the middle of it. This year we ran six tours during Folsom β including special editions for puppies, leather and rubber. With our drag guides we walked through the streets of the quarter, into its history, and toward the people who shaped it.
It was a great weekend for one simple reason: very different people came together, connected by curiosity, joy and a love for this neighbourhood.
And the good news: after Folsom is before Folsom. We're already looking forward to Folsom Europe 2026, when the Rainbow Quarter will once again become an international stage for fetish and queer culture. Until then there are plenty of tours waiting for you β and probably one or two new fetish-themed editions, too.
