Curated formats for companies – in the oldest queer quarter in Europe, at the places where it was decided what diversity costs.
Why this place
There are streets where history is not decoration. From the 1920s onwards, the area around Nollendorfplatz was home to the freest queer life in Europe: the Eldorado, the Institute for Sexual Science, a self-understanding decades ahead of its time – until it was destroyed within a few months.
Today a pink triangle of granite at the underground station commemorates the people who were deported from here. Two hundred metres further on, people are celebrating. Both belong together, and both stand in the same street.
Bringing your team here is not an outing. It asks a question: what is our attitude worth when we stand in the place where it was once ended by force?
The formats
Three depths. What differs is not the group size – but how far we let you in.
I · Signature – from €3,500
Up to 20 people · approx. 5 hours · 4 dates per year
- A route that does not exist publicly – put together with one of our guides, tuned to what you are really discussing inside your company right now.
- One or two places off the route that you cannot simply walk into.
- A moderated closing in private – conversation instead of small talk.
- Bilingual German / English on request.
For: leadership teams, divisional management, selected client circles.
II · Legacy – from €7,500
Up to 30 people · a full evening · 2 dates per year
- Everything from Signature.
- A conversation with contemporary witnesses and people from the community here.
- Preparation and follow-up with whoever owns diversity or communications at your company.
- Documentation in images and text for internal use.
For: executive boards, supervisory bodies, annual kick-offs.
III · Patron – from €15,000 per year
Annual partnership · dates by arrangement
- Two formats per year, freely chosen.
- A fixed share to a named initiative in the quarter – with proof of use, not as a gesture.
- Named as a partner – or deliberately not, if you prefer.
- Direct availability, including at short notice.
For: companies with a lasting presence in Berlin.
All prices net plus statutory VAT. Larger groups and different formats are quoted individually.
What is different afterwards
The evening ends. The effect starts on Monday.
- It changes the conversation. A team that has stood together at this memorial talks differently about diversity afterwards. Not because it heard a talk, but because it was there.
- It can be justified internally. You receive documentation, a named contact and – with Patron – proof of where your contribution went. That makes the spend defensible one level up.
- It cannot be repeated at scale. These formats rely on people who do not scale: our guides and those who open their doors to us. That is why they exist four and two times a year respectively.
How we work
- Discretion is standard. No reference list, no logos, no social media posts – unless you explicitly ask for it.
- Lead time. Six to eight weeks is realistic. Shorter is sometimes possible, but we cannot promise it.
- People get paid. Everyone involved in a format – guides, conversation partners, venues – is paid for it. That is not up for negotiation with us.
- We also say no. If an occasion does not suit this place, we say so openly and suggest something else. That is part of discretion too.
