Your own city tour – just for you and your friends
Our exclusive tours run separately from the public Thursday tours. You get your own date, your own drag queen guide and your own group only – ideal for birthdays, private groups, corporate events or close groups of friends.
- The tour is exclusively yours. There won't be any other participants present – no redeemed vouchers, no press representatives, just your group.
- The tour is arranged individually for you. The participating venues are coordinated once we have agreed on a date.
- We schedule the tour according to your preferences.
- You can request your favourite guide.
Our regular Thursday tours are partly supported by the participating venues. This is not the case with exclusive tours – which is why the price structure is different. In return, you get full exclusivity and the option to tailor the experience.
Who an exclusive KiezTour is for
- Birthdays. Instead of dinner or a house party: an evening through Berlin's Rainbow Quarter with your own drag queen guide. The birthday person can shape parts of the route together with the guide in advance.
- Hen and stag parties. A relaxed and slightly different alternative to standard hen/stag programmes – charming, queer, and without the awkward group challenges.
- Companies & teams. Team events, diversity programmes, on-site evenings for international guests – we adjust to your group size and offer bilingual delivery on request.
- Groups of friends. A group looking for a memorable evening in Berlin? A private tour fits perfectly.
- Associations & communities. Queer or queer-friendly groups can book their own private tour as well.
- International guests. On request, the tour can be held in English or bilingually – just let us know what suits your group.
- Pride, diversity & CSD programmes. Whether agency, company or initiative – a KiezTour slot fits well into Pride-week programmes.
How an exclusive tour works
- Request. Get in touch via our contact form – with your preferred date, approximate group size, occasion and language.
- Reply. We come back to you with available guides, possible dates and a quote.
- Coordination. We agree with you on focus, pace and which venues fit your group and occasion.
- Confirmation & deposit. The date is locked in and you receive all relevant info about the meeting point.
- Tour day. Your drag queen guide meets you at the agreed point in the Nollendorfkiez and takes you on a roughly 4-hour tour through the Kiez.
The prices are staggered as follows
Up to 15 persons: 900,- EUR
Up to 20 persons: 1.200,- EUR
Up to 25 persons: 1.500,- EUR
All prices incl. the legal VAT of 19%. The exact final price depends on group size, date, language, effort and customisation. Larger groups or special requirements (multiple guides at once, multilingual delivery, specific venues) can be quoted individually.
Frequently asked questions about exclusive tours
What's the minimum group size for an exclusive tour?
The base rate covers groups of up to 15 people. Smaller groups can book as well, but the flat rate stays the same.
How much does an exclusive KiezTour cost?
An exclusive tour starts at 900 € (up to 15 people). Up to 20 people: 1.200 €. Up to 25 people: 1.500 €. All prices incl. 19% VAT. Larger groups on request.
Can we book the tour in English?
Yes. On request we can deliver the exclusive tour in English or bilingually – just let us know who's in your group and which language fits.
How customisable is the tour really?
Within the Nollendorfkiez, we can shift focus, include specific venues and adjust the pace to your group. The thematic core – queer history, bars, scene venues – stays in place, because that's what the KiezTour is.
Is the KiezTour suitable for corporate events?
Yes. For diversity workshops, team events and international guests, the KiezTour is a strong programme element – we can deliver it in English and align with your agenda.
How much lead time do we need?
The earlier the better – especially in peak season (Pride, CSD, Folsom weekend) our guides book up quickly. Four to six weeks of lead time is a good rule of thumb; short-notice requests are possible but not guaranteed.
